PFL Reveals Stacked 2025 Middleweight Tournament Lineup

25 February 2025

The PFL has officially revealed the field for its 2025 middleweight tournament, featuring a mix of former champions, rising stars, and dominant contenders. Among the eight participants are former Fabian Edwards, a former Bellator title challenger, and 2023 PFL light heavyweight champion Impa Kasanganay. Both will look to establish themselves as the premier middleweight in the promotion.

Also in the lineup is Aaron Jeffery, who fought for gold in Bellator, and highly touted contenders such as Dalton Rosta and Mike Shipman. Other notable names include former ONE Championship standout Murad Ramazanov, 2023 PFL light heavyweight finalist Josh Silveira, and 2022 PFL welterweight champion Sadibou Sy.

The PFL also announced Jordan Newman and Khalid Murtazaliev as tournament alternates, ensuring that the competition remains deep with talent.

The opening round of the tournament is set for April 18 at 2025 PFL 3 in Orlando, Florida, with all fights airing on ESPN and ESPN+. The bracket matchups are yet to be determined.

This marks PFL’s return to the middleweight tournament format for the first time since its inaugural 2018 season. At that time, the promotion transitioned away from the division to make way for women’s lightweight, which became the home of two-time champion Kayla Harrison. With the relaunch of the middleweight bracket, PFL aims to bring fresh attention to the division with a highly competitive field.
