Sam Creasey Ready for First Title Defense in Oktagon 67

After a successful debut in the Oktagon promotion, Sam Creasey (19-5) is gearing up for his first flyweight title defense. The experienced fighter claimed the vacant 125-pound championship in early 2024 by defeating Aaron Aby, marking his arrival in the Czech-based organization.

Creasey, known for his time in Cage Warriors, where he won the world title, is excited about this new chapter in his career. He reflects on his career in the well-established organization, noting the routine that came with being in the same promotion for many years. "It was nice to freshen things up," Creasey shared. "I love Cage Warriors, but it was all so routine. Going with Oktagon was a nice change, and they looked after me really well. I've really enjoyed my time with them so far."

The English flyweight is set to face Beno Adamia in his first title defense at Oktagon 67 on April 28, 2025. This marks a significant milestone for Creasey, as he aims to prove himself in a new organization while defending his hard-earned title.

Reflecting on his Cage Warriors title win, Creasey recalls his toughest challenges. "My toughest tests were probably against Luke Shanks," he admits, referencing his rivalries and emotional connections. Despite those challenges, Creasey feels ready for whatever comes his way in the Oktagon cage.

Creasey’s debut in Oktagon was a triumphant one, where he showcased his skills against Aby, a fighter he had previously faced. He dominated the five-round main event at Oktagon 56, cementing his place in the promotion as one of its top contenders.

With an impressive win over Aby under his belt, Creasey looks forward to proving himself against Adamia and continuing his path toward success in the flyweight division.
